We're in your booking.com extranet and we're going to talk about your Opportunity Center, and what you can do is to fill your last-minute reservations. Let me ask you a question, if you were going to get a last-minute reservation - the credit card details, to make it easier for your very last room that hasn't been booked yet, or maybe you have five more rooms that haven't been booked yet and you really want to get rid of them, or it's the same day you're waiting for a reservation to fill that up, you really want the money, so what are you going to do to make it easier for them to book?
People can book them in, so you don't lose money in an empty room. You're going to go here to your opportunities, you're going to go down here, you're going to see fill your empty rooms from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by simplifying same-day bookings by taking away credit card details. Why would I do that because it's the last day, you're going to lose it, anyway, so just throw those credit card details out the window.
You'll get them when they come in, so make it simpler, it's the last minute, you're going to lose out reservation, anyway, so if you want my recommendation, it's last day, you're going to lose it anyway, so just make it simpler for your customers, get them in your hotel, then you take their credit card information. You don't have to let them into your hotel without that credit card information. Once they get there then you can ask them for it, but let them make that reservation, don't lose that reservation by making it too difficult for them to book the room in the first place.
